The first intake of Brokerbility Academy apprentices has celebrated passing the CII Accredited Brokerbility Academy Apprenticeship programme in a graduation ceremony held at the Great Hall of the Chartered Insurance Institute, on 27th May 2016.
The talented young broker apprentices received their professional qualification from Brokerbility Chairman, Ashwin Mistry. The day was made even more special, as family, friends, managers and senior leaders from the insurance industry attended the ceremony.
Brokerbility Group Director, David McCallum opened the ceremony by applauding the achievement of the graduates. He said: “We are incredibly proud of our apprentices and I would like to think we have helped support industry leaders of the future.”
Our inaugural event featured an Apprentice of the Year 2016 award which was
presented to Lizzey Cull at Alan & Thomas. Also a Highly Commended Apprentice of the Year 2016 was presented to Georgia Hollis of Clear Insurance Management. Both awards were well earned and a testament to their impressive work ethic and community commitments.
James Hammell, Director of BPP University which provided the CII Accredited Apprenticeship Programme praised the graduates for their commitment. He added that these graduates were now ambassadors for the apprenticeship route, which the government is committed to growing over the next four years.
Sian Fisher, CEO of the CII applauded the achievements of the graduates and the
merits of the Brokerbility Academy Programme. She urged the new graduates to
strive towards further professional qualifications, which would unlock greater
opportunities as their career progressed.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our insurer and supplier partners
who have supported us over the past 18 months and of course those who continue to do so.
Lastly but not least importantly, thank you to all those who supported our young
graduates on their special day.
